The Hacienda, a historic ranch estate built in 1901, is the perfect location for your dream Wedding and Reception. Our garden chapel area is the ideal natural setting flourishing with trees wrapped in twinkle lights, flowering plants, a flowing fountain, and is over looked by the balcony encased with gorgeous ivy. The original adobe house surrounds the inner courtyard providing ambiance and the comforts of home as the bride dresses in her room to become a Mrs.
Our Taos Room offers an indoor ballroom setting with true Santa Fe style. The two story fireplace is the perfect backdrop for a romantic ceremony site and comes complete with a fairytale entrance down a grand staircase. A classic Southwestern bar and traditional artwork finish the room creating a unique setting that can accommodate an event of any size throughout the seasons.

Your Rehearsal Dinner
A dinner following the wedding rehearsal is not a necessity, but it is a lovely way to begin your wedding festivities and allows your attendants and families to relax and get acquainted.
It is traditionally hosted by the groom’s parents in a restaurant, hotel, private dining facility, or in their home. (Catered rehearsal dinners at home are wonderful; your caterer can furnish an experienced serving staff to do everything, including the dishes.) On this special occasion, the groom’s parents’ one role is host and hostess!
Invitations may be sent two weeks before the wedding, or a simple phone call informing the expected guests of the time, location, and perhaps formality of dress, would be appreciated. Invite all members of the wedding party, and their respective spouses or guests. The parents of the young attendants should also be invited. Include the clergy person and spouse, and musicians (if they attended the rehearsal). Don’t forget to count parents and the bride and groom! The guest list can be expanded to include grandparents, honored guests or entire families, as the groom’s parents wish. Special instrumental music will make this event even more elegant. Consider engaging a pianist, ensemble, harpist, or an entertaining guitar duo. Generally the hotel or restaurant you have chosen will be pleased to accommodate the space for special music unless your group will be in a main dining area where music is already provided.
Consider using place cards to ease seating arrangements, and decorating the dining area with flowers and candles. These lovely touches help everyone to relax and enjoy the party and set the tone for the festivities to come. It’s a perfect time to thank your attendants, parents and everyone involved in making your wedding come together.
The rehearsal dinner is a time for laughter, toasts, reminiscing and fun! However, in anticipation of the beautiful and busy day to follow, remember to end at a reasonable hour…

Every bride wants the perfect mode of transportation for her wedding day, a professional chauffeur and elegant service at an affordable price. However, over 75% of the vintage limo companies in California are operating without a license or valid insurance, pedaling fake Rolls-Royces or offering entry level Packards as “American Rolls Royces.” It is fraud to suggest that they are the real thing. The industry knows that most brides don’t inspect their wedding vehicle before booking it, so be sure you do and know what to look for. Don’t just look at a photo either - many cars don’t look nearly as nice in person. A vintage car should always be mechanically safe and sound. Be sure the air conditioning works and that the vehicle is clean and in good condition. Select a company with a solid reputation; one that cares about its vehicle collection, chauffeur service, and has an “A” rating with the Better Business Bureau.
Being late is the number one complaint against limo companies. Hire a company only if they have an “On Time Guarantee”. Be sure they will provide you with the name and mobile number of your driver in advance, including the exact time he’ll be arriving to pick you up.
Finally, ask about an “all inclusive” price quote. Hidden or phony fees can include sales tax, refueling charges, license fees, or PUC fees. Be aware of how the company charges for overtime as well. Avoid those that have overtime surcharge rates or round everything to the nearest hour.
